From af270529adb9b6f995192979f78a3e3fc9f52562 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Thomas Monjalon Date: Mon, 2 Nov 2020 20:51:00 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] ethdev: include mbuf registration in Tx timestamp API Previously, the Tx timestamp field and flag were registered in testpmd, as described in mlx5 guide. For consistency between Rx and Tx timestamps, managing mbuf registrations inside the driver, as properly documented, is a simpler expectation. The only driver to support this feature (mlx5) is updated as well as the testpmd application.
