From 7a944656b33fe24031f5574860eb81871403d5e3 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Stephen Hemminger Date: Wed, 20 Oct 2021 14:42:33 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] test/pcapng: test pcapng library Simple unit test that created pcapng file using API. To run this test you need to have at least one device. For example: DPDK_TEST=pcapng_autotest ./build/app/test/dpdk-test -l 0-15 \ --no-huge -m 2048 --vdev=net_tap,iface=dummy Signed-off-by: Stephen Hemminger --- MAINTAINERS | 1 + app/test/meson.build | 4 + app/test/test_pcapng.c | 270 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 3 files changed, 275 insertions(+) create mode 100644 app/test/test_pcapng.c diff --git a/MAINTAINERS b/MAINTAINERS index 3f9bb0f50a..578bc2c3e1 100644 --- a/MAINTAINERS +++ b/MAINTAINERS @@ -1437,6 +1437,7 @@ F: doc/guides/prog_guide/pdump_lib.rst F: app/test/test_pdump.* F: lib/pcapng/ F: doc/guides/prog_guide/pcapng_lib.rst +F: app/test/test_pcapng.c F: app/pdump/ F: doc/guides/tools/pdump.rst diff --git a/app/test/meson.build b/app/test/meson.build index ba2600aa63..cbd8f27d45 100644 --- a/app/test/meson.build +++ b/app/test/meson.build @@ -402,6 +402,10 @@ if dpdk_conf.has('RTE_NET_RING') fast_tests += [['pdump_autotest', true]] endif +if dpdk_conf.has('RTE_PORT_PCAP') + test_sources += 'test_pcapng.c' +endif + if dpdk_conf.has('RTE_LIB_POWER') test_deps += 'power' endif diff --git a/app/test/test_pcapng.c b/app/test/test_pcapng.c new file mode 100644 index 0000000000..c2dbeaf603 --- /dev/null +++ b/app/test/test_pcapng.c @@ -0,0 +1,270 @@ +/* SPDX-License-Identifier: BSD-3-Clause + * Copyright (c) 2021 Microsoft Corporation + */ + +#include +#include +#include + +#include +#include +#include +#include +#include +#include + +#include + +#include "test.h" + +#define NUM_PACKETS 10 +#define DUMMY_MBUF_NUM 3 + +static rte_pcapng_t *pcapng;
