265 buckets. These configuration parameters were previously the part of meter
266 object internal data strcuture. The separation of the configuration
267 parameters from meter object data structure results in reducing its
268 memory footprint which helps in better cache utilization when large number
269 of meter objects are used.
271 * ethdev: The function ``rte_eth_dev_count``, often mis-used to iterate
272 over ports, is deprecated and replaced by ``rte_eth_dev_count_avail``.
